The likes of Darkstalkers, Red Earth, Super Gem Fighter, and more are being bundled together in one package this summer.
Street Fighter 6 may have been the big announcement Capcom was teasing with its mystery countdown, but it wasn’t the only piece of fighting game news it had in store.
10 of Capcom’s classic fighting games are being packaged together in what it simply calls the Capcom Fighting Collection. Already scheduled for June 24, it will release for every major last gen platform: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Aside from it being an excuse for long-time, nostalgic fans to purchase these games again, the collection comes with all five Darkstalkers games, including two that never released in the West, and marks the first time the fantasy themed Red Earth has ever been available outside of the arcades.
The Darkstalkers series, know as Vampire Hunter in Japan, plays very similarly to Street Fighter 2 but features characters based on classic movie monsters and other sources.
