After waiting over a year and a half, players finally received a new map for Call of Duty: Warzone in early December 2021. Known as Caldera, it replaced the war-torn streets of Verdansk with a lush tropical island for players to explore. Despite a large amount of hype leading up to launch, the response to the new map has been less than ideal.
Since releasing the Caldera map at the start of the Warzone Pacific Season 1, players have encountered a number of different issues plaguing the game. For starters, a glitch that allowed vehicles to take flight was discovered. In addition, players have experienced an invisible gas bug that has ruined matches for some. In short, there is no shortage of problems that the developers at Raven Software have had to address in the last couple of months regarding the Caldera map. Unfortunately, it appears gamers have stumbled upon another unintended error, this time with a missing building.

Recently, players discovered an unusual discrepancy between the Caldera minimap and what was seen in-game. Highlighted in a Reddit post, a user known as Butterflychunks shared a screenshot of them playing on the new Caldera map. While the picture showed the Reddit user standing in an open area, they pointed out that the map stated otherwise. According to the minimap, the player was standing directly where a large structure was supposed to be located. However, the main building was missing, with only a few small buildings scattered around the area.
