The latest update for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, Season 3, has introduced a lot of exciting new features, but also a frustrating bug on PC. According to recent reports on social media, the problem has been affecting players with AMD Vega GPUs ever since the start of Season 3 on April 12. Players have been experiencing crashes after booting both games up, getting an error message to the effect that "DirectX encountered an unrecoverable error."
The studio responsible for porting the two games to PC, Beenox, has already acknowledged the issue, noting that investigations into the cause of the crash are currently in progress. The company also added that a team is actively working to resolve the problem. “We're investigating a crash on boot affecting AMD Vega users on Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2,” Beenox pointed out on Twitter. “The team is actively working to get it fixed.”

While some have gotten behind this rather strange approach to the problem, others are skeptical that sending a pizza will eventually result in a successful outcome. “I truly admire your tenacity. I really do. Every day you make posts to help us desperate Vegabros.
