With the open beta for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 now live, many players are finding that matches are being ruined by cheaters and hackers.
Unfortunately, this issue has been all too common for recent entries in the Call of Duty series. In fact, previous betas for Black Ops Cold War and Vanguard had similar issues, while the wall hacking and aimbotting problems that plagued Warzone has been well documented already.
While cheating has been a very common issue in recent Call of Duty games, many players likely expected the issue to be minimized thanks to the addition of Activision's Ricochet anti-cheat system.
For whatever reason, that doesn't seem to be the case as Modern Warfare 2 beta players have been finding their matches to be ruined by hackers using tools like aimbot for perfect headshots or wall hacks to see where players are at all times.Read more on gamerant.com
