Breath of the Wild Player Paints Breathtaking Picture of Dueling Peaks

For years, players have been exploring the open world of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, making many discoveries in the process. During their travels, gamers have come across many breathtaking locations throughout the Hyrule Kingdom. Among these stunning spots is the iconic Dueling Peaks.

Located in the central region of West Necluda, the Dueling Peaks is a natural mountain formation. As the name suggests, the location is famous for its two peaks that are in close proximity to each other. In fact, they are so close that only a narrow passageway allows travelers to cross between them. However, once on the other side, a stable of the same name as the peaks is located only a little ways off. In addition, several shrines are situated nearby, including a couple on the rocks of the mountains. Recently, a talented fan decided to pay homage to this location in a piece of artwork.

In a post on Reddit, a user known as Darcyhw shared a painting they recently completed based on Breath of the Wild. According to the artist, they wanted to recreate the iconic Dueling Peaks landmark seen early on in the game. The picture portrayed the sense of adventure present in the open-world title, as it showed Link during his quest to save Hyrule. In the painting, the hero stood on the edge of a path that led down to a lake. In the distance, the distinctive twin peaks of the mountain range were visible. One highlight of the painting was a pair of towering cumulonimbus clouds placed on both sides of the Dueling Peaks, echoing the duality of location on a grander scale.
