The Book of Boba Fett's Black Krrsantan actor, Carey Jones, gets a warm welcome from Chewbacca actor Peter Mayhew's widow. The late British-American actor brought Han Solo's lovable Wookiee sidekick to life in five live-action Star Wars movies, including all three installments in the original trilogy, Revenge of the Sith, and one final time in The Force Awakens before retiring from the role. Mayhew then acted as a consultant on The Last Jedi, acting as a mentor to his successor, Joonas Suotamo.
The latest live-action entry into the Star Wars universe, The Book of Boba Fett, centers on its titular bounty hunter (Temuera Morrison) and the master assassin, Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen). The pair were both brought back to life during the events of The Mandalorian and set their sights on taking control of the territory previously controlled by Jabba the Hutt.Episode 2 of The Book of Boba Fett introduces Jabba's cousins, a pair of Hutts known as The Twins, who are accompanied by a Wookiee bounty hunter known as Black Krrsantan.

Now, Mayhew's widow, Angie, is giving a "warm Wookiee welcome" to the man under the Black Krrsantan suit, Carey Jones. In a message sent out via the Peter Mayhew Foundation Twitter page, Angie welcomed the actor to the "Wookiee family" and told him he has "some giant shoes to fill." Mayhew also said that “Peter would have loved seeing a Wookiee truly unleashed!” Check out the post below:
