Blizzard has revealed that players looking to participate in this week’s Overwatch 2 PVP beta will be able to gain access to it via Twitch drops.
In a post on the Overwatch website, it was confirmed that by watching any of its partnered streamers for a certain length of time, players who have linked their Twitch account to their Battle.net account will earn a beta key for the game.
Players who are selected as beta participants will receive a code starting tomorrow, April 26.
Blizzard has also revealed the system requirements for the upcoming beta.

While the initial beta will be limited to PC, Blizzard does plan to include console players “in future testing plans”.
The Overwatch 2 PVP beta will be available to players in North America, Europe, Latin America/Brazil, Korea, Japan, Australia/New Zealand, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia.
Players will also be able to stream any footage they wish from the Overwatch 2 beta. The beta is scheduled to last from April 26 until May 17.
Earlier this month, a gameplay trailer for Sojourn, a new Overwatch 2 character, leaked online.
It appears from the trailer that Sojourn’s railgun can fire rapidly in an automatic mode, and can then be switched to fire more powerful shots.
Sojourn will be playable as part of the Overwatch 2 beta.
