The PC requirements for Game Science’s Black Myth: Wukong have yet to be officially revealed. However, a listing on the JD Store (via Weibo) seems to have leaked them in advance alongside the physical Collector’s Edition.
As spotted by Reddit user YasuhiroK, the left-most requirements are for running the game without ray tracing. At 1080p and Minimum settings, you need an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600, 16 GB of RAM and a GeForce GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 580 with 6 GB VRAM. Max settings at 4K necessitate a Core i7-9700 or Ryzen 5 5500, an RTX 4070 or RTX 7800 XT (with 12 GB VRAM) and 32 GB of RAM.
The demands for ray tracing are significantly higher, with 1080p/Low settings requiring a Core i5-9400 or Ryzen 5 1600, 16 GB RAM and an RTX 3060 8 GB. At 4K, you’ll need a Core i7-9700 or Ryzen 5 5500, 32 GB RAM and an RTX 4080 Super with 32 GB VRAM. However, perhaps the most surprising requirement is the 130 GB installation space. A solid-state drive is recommended for all but the lowest settings.
Black Myth: Wukong launches on August 20th for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Stay tuned for more details and a potential new trailer at the Summer Game Fest showcase later today.
