Black Desert is about to trek out to the big American desert. The next iteration of the real-life Adventurers’ Oasis official community event series has been announced for Dallas, Texas, taking place on March 1.
The event page claims the event will have community activities, developer meet-and-greets, a cosplay contest, some exclusive merch, and dinner and drinks included with entry. And in the past, everything seems to have been pretty much delivered as promised, with little competitions, talks by studio leads, and general chats with staff and other Black Desert players.
The sign-ups are open now until February 2 for a chance to join the event via the official submission form. If chosen, at the end of the sign-up period on February 3, attendees will be announced, and players will receive an email with information and details about attending the event. Players can also bring a +1, though assumedly for capacity reasons, they’ll need to specify it when signing up. (And as a reminder, the invitation is non-transferable.)
This meet-up’s state of choice may be a deliberate choice given Black Desert’s recent release of its latest playable character: Deadeye, a gunslinger cowgirl explicitly from America. We love to get a little yee-haw with it, y’all.
