GameCentral’s monthly round-up of mobile titles includes a new Hitman game, an Unpacking clone, and giant kaiju fights.
This month’s new batch of Android and iOS apps includes the sequel to the self-explanatory Hitman: Sniper, an easy-to-love top-down dungeon crawler, and a tree-swinging platformer with a cleverly subtle environmental message… as well as the usual time-wasting free-to-play titles that you can now easily avoid with our handy guide.
Dungeons Of DreadrockiOS & Android, Free (Christoph Minnameier)
Heading into Dreadrock Dungeon in search of your brother, you swipe to move, activate objects, and attack, as you make your way down through its 100 floors, each of which forms its own discrete puzzle.
With myriad graphical touches, from the creepy crawlies that infest many levels to your character’s tiny, bloody footprints as she wanders away from the scene of a battle, it’s clearly a labour of love.
There are some frustrations with the control scheme but given the levels’ small size it won’t hold you back from solving the elegantly constructed puzzles. Ads are short and can be fast forwarded and removing them altogether costs a minimal £1.79.

Pocket Love!iOS & Android, Free (HyperBeard Inc)
Presented in a saccharine cute art style, Pocket Love! gas you helping a couple furnish their new house. Drag chairs, plants, a bed, pet furniture, and a wide range of other household items into place, then listen to the couple’s repeating, insufferably smug conversations.
Although aesthetically similar to Unpacking, another game about placing household goods, this lacks Unpacking’s subtlety, melancholy implied story, and sense of momentum. Not to mention, being free to download, you soon run into countdown timers, daily
