As Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans get ready to say goodbye to Tom Pearson, many feel they know who his replacement will be. Tom was let go in the last episode for not having his head in the game, with fans agreeing with Captain Glenn Shephard's decision to fire Tom. The 23-year old England native was not having a good yachting season before he was let go. After an anchor watch that left most of the crew scared, Captain Glenn was forced to fire Tom for his lack of accountability. While it is a major life lesson and possibly a hard pill for Tom to swallow, it was the right decision in the end. Viewers first met Tom when he joined Parsifal III at the start of season 3 as a deckhand under the command of first mate Gary King. It was hard for Tom to stay away from the drama, especially after finding himself in a love triangle between himself, Gary, and third stewardess Ashley Marti. It also didn't help that he got sick in Captain Glenn's room on the very first night. While fans say goodbye to Tom, many already think they know who his replacement will be.

A Reddit group believes they have figured out who the newest deckhand will be. The user shared a photo of Tom's rumored replacement, Barnaby Birkbeck, who naturally has a love of the water. After taking a quick look at Barnaby's social media, it looks like he is friends with most of the current cast on BDSY, including Gary, Daisy Kelliher, and Colin MacRae.
