Many fans were alarmed by Jasmine’s extreme jealousy at first, but over time her boyfriend Gino Palazzolo made it impossible to sympathize with him. Sending Jasmine’s nudes to his ex-sugar baby was a major violation of her trust and viewers were shocked. Jasmine was furious at him but it was absolutely justified, and she expertly roasted Gino and continues to throw out iconic one-liners. It’s clear that now Jasmine has won over viewers who prefer her to Gino.
Caleb struck many fans as an f-boy type and thought his new age beliefs were weird and pretentious. They had assumed he was judging Alina because of her disability and was going to treat her poorly because of it. But it turns out Alina isn’t a very good person. She unfairly pressured Caleb for sex and wanted to define their relationship prematurely, and it also turns out she has a racist streak. Caleb was surprisingly level-headed and upfront with Alina, and it made him much more likable of the two.
