A creative fan of The Legend of Zelda has produced a beautiful piece of Ocarina of Time pixel art, which includes hidden references to Majora's Mask. One of the most haunting entries in the Zelda franchise, there have even been calls for BOTW 2 to take inspiration from Majora's Mask, whose creepy moon continues to be one of the most iconic visuals in the series.
Ocarina of Time remains one of the most popular video games of all time, having been hugely influential for both the Legend of Zelda games and indeed gaming as a whole. Inspiring countless fan works over the years, it has unsurprisingly been inducted into the Video Game Hall of Fame. As a result, the game and its characters maintain a strong presence in pop culture, as does OoT's direct sequel, Majora's Mask. Continuing the Hero of Time's story, Majora's Mask contains many references to its predecessor, with a major plot point even revolving around the use of OoT's titular ocarina. As such, its gameplay sees Zelda's Link rewind time over and over again, in order to prevent the land of Termina from suffering a terrible fate.

Now one fan's new Ocarina of Time fan art has paid a brilliant homage to its sequel. Twitter user 1TZAH has created an amazing piece of animated pixel art that depicts Link and Zelda relaxing at the edge of a forest stream. Packed full of familiar sights including Epona, Navi, and even the Triforce, the scene includes a multitude of finer details as well, such as the shadows of fish swimming in the water.
