Battlefield 2042 just received a small hotfix today to combat some of the stability issues that have cropped up after update 3.2. Alongside the hotfix came another update, but this one was to tell us that update 3.3 has been delayed.
"Our next update after today's hotfix will now roll out in early March," wrote Battlefield 2042's communications Twitter account. "This is a change from our last messaging to you all on its intended release."

Originally scheduled for later in February, update 3.3 was supposed to bring back Battlefield scoreboard, something that EA initially considered a "legacy feature" and not integral to the core Battlelfield experience. DICE previewed the upcoming scoreboard in a Twitter post a few weeks ago but took flack when the scoreboard didn't appear to show a player's deaths.
The delay seems to be so DICE can address this shortcoming. “We have heard your feedback around including two tables and separating your own team versus the enemy, and are working on incorporating that for the release," DICE wrote in a recent update that also announced the delay of Season One. "K/D scoring and End of Round reporting will also be coming in a future update.”
Battlefield 2042 has been struggling ever since its release last November. Between delays, missing features, bugs, and technical issues, fans have been leaving Battlefield in droves. It's gotten to the point where Battlefield 2042 is in danger of being overtaken by Battlefield 1 on Steam.
