For a limited period of time, developer DICE has enabled 64-player Conquest and Breakthrough modes in Battlefield 2042 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S hardware. Battlefield 2042's Conquest Mode previously supported 128 players exclusively across PC and new-gen consoles; though such a thought excited many a fan ahead of launch, the player count's execution has left much to be desired.
