Batman has one of the largest collections of villains of any superhero, so it's not surprising that many of them have yet to appear in a video game. While many of his most famous enemies such as the Joker and Penguin have made themselves known in games, they are far from his only adversaries. Batman has many foes who could bring something unique to his games, some of which haven't been given so much as an Easter egg or reference in Rocksteady's expansive Batman: Arkham series.
With Gotham Knights, Wonder Woman, and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League in development, DC video games seem to be experiencing a boom period. However, the Arkhamverse games starring Batman were among DC's most popular offerings before this recent surge, so Batman games have already shown their strength. With Batman's biggest villains already earning Gotham Knights roles, many of his lesser-known foes are left without anything to do. In fact, some of his less-famous enemies could make for interesting opponents if incorporated into a future Batman game.

While some bland and one-off characters may not be worth bringing into a game, the Caped Crusader still has several interesting enemies to choose from. Whether as a side villain or a major threat, they have plenty to offer. They may not be big names at the moment, but a role in a game and a good performance could easily elevate them to newfound stardom.
