The next big update for Baldur's Gate 3, the so-called Patch 7, has been talked about for months — and now it's finally within reach. Developer Larian has confirmed that the update will arrive this week on PC — having previously promised that it would drop at some time in September — but PS5 players will have to wait just a bit longer.
«With so many changes and new features arriving in this patch, it’ll take a little longer to get these to you on console,» the studio clarified on social media, over the weekend. Indeed, there's a lot to this update. From significant improvements to split-screen play and Honour Mode, to new and reworked evil endings, there's loads to look forward to.
It's also well worth noting that mod support is coming to PS5 this month. It's assumed that this patch will open the gates — if you'll pardon the pun — with full mod functionality being implemented soon after. We'll need the complete patch notes in order to wrap our heads around everything.

A little too much, some might say.
