August’s Xbox Live Games with Gold titles have been revealed
Microsoft has announced August 2022’s Xbox Live Games with Gold titles.
On Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, subscribers will be able to claim Calico (normally $11.99 / £9.99) from August 1-31.
ScourgeBringer (normally $16.99 / £14.24) will be available as a free download from August 16 to September 15.
Xbox 360 game Saints Row 2 (normally $9.99 / £8.99) will be free for Xbox Live Gold members from August 1-15.
And from August 16-31, Xbox 360 title Monaco: What’s Yours is Mine (normally $14.99 / £9.99) will be free to download.
As part of July’s Xbox Games with Gold line-up, members can still download Beasts of Maravilla Island and Torchlight until the end of the month, while Relicta is available to claim until August 15.
Microsoft confirmed this month that Xbox Games with Gold will no longer include Xbox 360 titles beginning in October 2022.
“We’re always looking at ways to evolve the Xbox experience based on community engagement, feedback and shifting company priorities,” a Microsoft spokesperson told VGC.
“We have reached the limit of our ability to bring new games to the catalog from the past due to licensing and technical constraints. We will continue to focus on providing Xbox One titles through the Games with Gold program.”
