Crunchyroll has once again rolled out its annual awards, and this year Attack on Titan has taken home four awards including Anime of the Year.
Attack on Titan’s final season began airing last year after a wildly successful eight-year run as one of Crunchyroll’s most popular shows. Always nominated but never quite achieving those coveted victories, this year Crunchyroll has finally bestowed Attack on Titan with the coveted Anime of the Year award.

In addition, Attack on Titan also won the award for Best Opening Sequence for "My War" by Shinsei Kamattechan, Best VA Performance for Eren Yaeger as played by Yuki Kaji, and Best Antagonist also for Eren Yaeger (who was also nominated for Best Protagonist, but I guess he couldn't somehow win both).
The other big winner at the Sixth Annual Crunchyroll Awards was Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc, which won Best Animation, Best Ending Sequence (beating out Beastars), Best Film, and several Best international VA awards.
Head on over to Crunchyroll’s website to see the full list of winners and maybe get a few ideas on what your next anime binge should be. And keep watching Crunchyroll for the thrilling conclusion of Attack on Titan, which is now in its final three episodes.
In other Demon Slayer news, Demon Slayer -Kimetsu No Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles will soon make its way to the Nintendo Switch. Sega made the announcement earlier this week confirming Demon Slayer will launch on the Switch with all previous updates on other consoles as well as the six DLC characters that have arrived since its October launch. Pre-orders are also available for a physical edition but in limited quantities.
