Assassin's Creed Mirage is now available to preorder in the UK, listed at £44.99 for the Standard Edition on the Ubisoft Store, £49.99 for the Deluxe Edition, and £129.99 for the Collector's Edition. But, preorders are also now available at UK retailer GAME, which has both the Standard and Deluxe Editions listed at just £34.99 at the time of writing.
This is either a temporary error or simply an amazing deal. Either way, GAME will not charge you until the game releases (pay on dispatch), so you've got nothing to lose preordering this. One catch with GAME is that you will have to pay for delivery when the AC Mirage launches (currently the release date is TBC), and the delivery charge is £5. So, in reality, you're looking at £39.99 for the Deluxe Edition - which is still £10 off list price directly from Ubisoft.
But, if you are feeling extra savvy about things, you can also opt to collect the game from your local store when it launches. This also costs £5 (don't ask why), but GAME does 'reimburse' you, by giving you a £5 voucher to spend in-store. Seemingly this isn't as good as getting free delivery (or free click & collect), but it's better than nothing, and worth knowing before you preorder.
I know what your next thought is - why is a new Assassin's Creed only going to cost £35-50? This isn't a big RPG Assassin's Creed, and will therefore have a tighter narrative, and less overall gameplay.
This is simply speculation, but this is likely why the game won't be listed at the new premium prices for AAA games in the UK, £65-£70. Instead, as it's a smaller game compared to the previously
