Pokémon Legends: Arceus has set a new record for the famous franchise, with its Twitch debut bringing in more viewers than any previous title in the series. According to data analytics company Gamesight, Pokémon Legends: Arceus has broken the record for the most popular Pokémon game on Twitch in the first 72 hours after it launched. The game reached 481,573 viewers at its peak, which nearly doubled Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl's highest total. Overall, Legends had better viewership statistics than any previous Pokémon game's launch, including Pokémon Sword andShield, Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu andEevee, and Pokémon Brilliant Diamond andShining Pearl. The only exception was that it peaked at #1 on Twitch during launch day, but Sword and Shield remained on top for 2 out of 3 days.
