Data on TwitchTracker shows Lost Ark has already surpassed Grand Theft Auto V's peak viewership numbers on Twitch. This constitutes an especially noteworthy feat given that the Amazon Games-published MMORPG has yet to launch in full. At present, Lost Ark is enjoying a successful Early Access period, which began early in the morning on February 8.
Lost Ark's Early Access phase has proven so successful, in fact, that it peaked at 532,476 concurrent users on Steam. The excitement surrounding Lost Ark hardly comes as a surprise given its immense popularity in South Korea. Developers Tripod Studio and Smilegate released the isometric experience in 2019 to incredible player reception, laying the groundwork for its eventual launch in western territories. The continued sharing of new data about the MMORPG suggests the slightly longer wait was worth it in the end.
