Ahead of Apex Legends Mobile’s season 2 release, new details such as the inclusion of Kings Canyon, the Octane nerfs, and the reveal of new character Rhapsody have all dropped.Apex Legends Mobile’s Rhapsody is a visual and audio-based character, complete with a pet robotic dog named Rowdy.
Rhapsody’s backstory explains how she ends up in Apex Legends Mobile’s competitive Apex Games. The short version is her mother was fired from Pythas for discovering company secrets, leading her family into false debt. Rhapsody made a name for herself in the nightlife district, enough to be invited to the wealthy side of town—and a virus designed to wipe out her family’s debt goes wrong. It takes out the entire financial district instead, and Pythas forces Rhapsody into the games to avoid its wrath.

Her abilities revolve around sights and sounds, with her passive picking up visualizations of noise, her tactical being a song that buffs her Apex Legends teammates and recharges their shield. Interestingly enough, the tactical will end when Rhapsody takes damage but likely comes with a timer beyond that. Her ultimate is Rowdy’s Rave, a counter where Rowdy projects flashing lights that block sight and scans.
Of course, Apex Legends Progression perks let players tailor their builds—something not in the base game. Most of Rhapsody’s perks allow her squadmates to benefit even more by gaining her passive, increasing range, length, and other effects.
