AMD could launch a flurry of new Ryzen desktop processors over the course of the next few weeks. While some of the upcoming chips were rumored previously, a new report now claims that there's a lot more in the pipeline than what has been rumored already. The report also seemingly reveals the pricing of some of these chips.
Alongside Intel, AMD is not only one of the two leading PC CPU-makers in the world, it is also one of the two leading GPU-makers along with NVIDIA. While it has several powerful graphics cards in the market, it has also been known to release one or two inexplicable products, like the Radeon RX 6500 XT, which comes with a 6nm design, 16 compute units, and just 4GB of VRAM.

A new report claims that AMD is prepping to announce a slew of new Ryzen chips on March 15th before launching them the next month. The upcoming Ryzen processors will reportedly include Zen 3D, Zen 3, and Zen 2 chips. According to Wccftech, which claims that most of the new chips will be from the current Ryzen 5000 range, there will still be a few new ones from the older 4000 (Zen 2) series. As per the report, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D will go on sale April 20th, which is contrary to earlier rumors that suggested the chip will be available for purchase by the end of this month.
Before the 5800X3D goes on sale, a number of other Ryzen 5000 models will reportedly be available for purchase. That includes the Ryzen 7 5700X, Ryzen 5 5600, and Ryzen 5 5500, all of which are said to hit retail shelves on April 4th.
