The AMD Ryzen 5 5600GT & 5500GT "AM4" Desktop CPUs have been listed once again & seemingly feature higher boost frequencies.
The specifications of the AMD Ryzen 5 5600GT & 5500GT CPU are listed by Gesci & Geizhals. The AMD Ryzen 5 5500GT looks very similar to the existing Ryzen 5 5500 CPU. Both chips are based on the Cezanne A1 die with 6 cores utilizing a 7nm Zen 3 core architecture, 12 threads, 16 MB of L3 cache, and 3 MB of L2 cache. The AMD Ryzen 5 5500GT is listed with a base clock of 3.60 GHz while its boost frequency is listed at 4.4 GHz (4.2 GHz on 5500) while the Ryzen 5 5600GT features a base clock of 4.6 GHz.
The extra boost clock should result in a good performance uplift over the current Non-GT chips & which would be great for users coming from an older AM4 CPU. Besides that, both chips feature the same Radeon "Vega" iGPU and will come with a boxed Wraith Spire CPU cooler.
Another difference with the AMD Ryzen 5 5600 GT & 5500GT CPUs is that their compatibility is only listed for the 500-series motherboards which include the X570, B550, & A520 series. Now that can simply be changed by a new BIOS firmware update.
As for the pricing, it is suggested between €133,98 - €159,90. For comparison, the Ryzen 5 5500 ranges between €94.90 - €258.19 at the same retailer. These prices are preliminary so expect them to be much lower when the chip launches. The retailer also lists the AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D boxed CPU for €271.00 - €281.00 which can be compared with the €292.00 - €609.00 pricing of the Ryzen 7 5800X3D.
Over at GESCI, the AMD Ryzen 5 5600GT is listed for 185,63€, the Ryzen 5 5500GT is listed for €164.19 and the Ryzen 7 5700X3D is listed for €328.58. The prices are as below:
