2022 is looking to be a big year for PlayStation owners, as there are plenty of exclusives making their way to Sony's console. This includes highly anticipated releases like God of War: Ragnarok and more recently, Horizon: Forbidden West. This is the sequel to 2017's open-world post-apocalyptic adventure, Horizon: Zero Dawn. Forbidden West has received plenty of critical acclaim, with plenty of elements that made this follow-up an improvement over the original, such as a compelling narrative, excellent acting, and smaller improvements that enhance the experience.
Some of these improvements can be seen in Horizon: Forbidden West's gameplay, with an expansive open world that contains plenty of quests. These range from main story quests to the variety of side activities with plenty of new characters and allies for the player to work with. The combat has also been polished to a shine, giving fans many options to tackle various combat scenarios, offering intense action-packed battles or stealthy takedowns. With this sequel being a step-up from the first game, it's no surprise it's also seen impressive sales.
Horizon Forbidden West Trailer Mission Didn't Make it to Final Game
Horizon: Zero Dawn already had impressive sales numbers, and now Horizon: Forbidden West is seeing similar reception and launch. A GSD data report shows the top-selling games of the UK on the PSN Store. The report shows Horizon: Forbidden West beating out games like FIFA 22 and Total War: Warhammer 3 as the most downloaded game from the storefront from last week.
