Among the many characters in All of Us Are Dead, one whose fate may not have been clear to all viewers is that of Hee-su's baby. After nearly the entire first season took place in the same hallways of the school, the final episodes of All of Us Are Dead took the show to the next level with large-scale action scenes both on the campus and on the streets of Hyosan. Although it left some loose ends for a season 2, All of Us Are Dead managed to combine all of its many storylines into a finale that made the 12-episode journey worthwhile.
One of the mysteries introduced already in the first episode of All of Us Are Dead was what could be happening to Hee-su. The student from class 2-5 had sought help from the infirmary just before Hyeon-ju, the first of the students to be infected with the zombie virus, was brought there. Amidst all the chaos at the start of the zombie apocalypse, All of Us Are Dead revealed that Hee-su was actually pregnant. The birth followed by almost abandonment of the baby was one of the most shocking moments of the beginning of the series and got viewers worrying about the fate of both Hee-su, who did not survive, and the baby.

From episode 5 to the end of All of Us Are Dead, the baby was taken care of by the comical but skillful duo formed by detective Jae-ik and officer Ho-chul. Even in the most adverse moments, the duo who later also saved another child and the YouTuber managed to keep the baby safe until they were found by the military. It was in the quarantine camp where Hee-su's baby, the child, and the two policemen remained in safety until the end of All of Us Are
