It's been seven years since Techland released the original Dying Light. The game offered an entertaining experience for zombie fans and its success managed to build excitement for the game's 2022 sequel. But while the second iteration of Dying Light is currently doing well, the developers continue to add life to the original title by offering new updates.
Released in February 2022, the follow-up for Dying Light has been well received by fans, with Dying Light 2: Stay Human selling 5 million units during its first month following release. Comparatively, the original Dying Light has recorded 20 million units in sales since its 2015 launch. Amidst the growing popularity of Dying Light 2, the developers don't seem to have forgotten about the original title either. In fact, Dying Light recently got a facelift when it released the next-gen update for Xbox Series X|S and PS5 as well as the PS4 Pro. Now, Dying Light owners will also be getting free DLCs from Techland.

As per the announcement, all Dying Light owners will get an upgrade to its enhanced version for free. This means that players will get Dying Light: The Following downloadable content complete with a new story, new map, and vehicle. Players will also receive The Bozak Horde, Crash Test Skin Pack, Ultimate Survivor Bundle, and Cuisine and Cargo DLCs. All these DLC packs are accessible directly within the game starting today.
