Turnip Boy is back, and this time, he’s stepping things up by heading straight into a vault. After tax evasion, the vegetable is continuing his life of crime by robbing a bank. Turnip Boy Robs a Bank is now out on Android.
Developed by Snoozy Kazoo and published by Plug in Digital and Graffiti Games, Turnip Boy Robs a Bank is up for grabs at $4.99. The new heist sequel is an action adventure that also blends in a little bit of roguelite elements and comedy.
Turnip Boy Robs a Bank sees the rebellious root team up with the Pickled Gang. It’s a group of troublemaking vegetables that are shady. Together, they hold down hostages, grab loot and explore the depths of the Botanical Bank.
As the eldest son and heir of the crime boss Don Turnipchino, Turnipchino II aka Turnip Boy needs all kinds of stuff to accomplish his mission.
For instance, you’ll be browsing the dark web for ridiculous gear like diamond pickaxes, C4 and radio jammers. The shootouts are intense, too. You’ll face off against everything from security guards to elite veggie SWAT teams.
The Botanical Bank is probably the weirdest bank you’ve ever heard of. It’s packed with quirky weapons you’ll need to survive. You’ll even come across some familiar faces and new citizens, all with their own little stories from the vegetable underworld.
The game lets you switch up enemy outline colours and adjust interact outline colours. You can even activate a god mode if you want Turnip Boy to become invincible. You can play in a nostalgic 4:3 mode or go full-screen.
There are multiple options to adjust the gameplay the way you like. You have the choice to crank up the damage boost to 200% or nerf it to 50%. You can collect hats and find cassettes with absolute banger tracks to keep the mood alive. There’s even auto-aim and a handy aim laser to fine-tune your touchscreen preferences.
So, check out Turnip Boy Robs a Bank from the Google Play Store if it sounds interesting.
