Marvel's Spider-Man 2 releases this month. That's right, more than two years after Insomniac showed us that first teaser and blew us all away because we thought the sequel was already almost ready to go, the next chapter in the studio's Spidey story is now just a matter of weeks away. If the long list of games coming between now and then - what a month for video games October is about to be - isn't enough to tide you over, then perhaps a pair of Adidas x Spider-Man shoes will help the final few weeks pass by more quickly.
Adidas's new Spider-man shoes are part of the company's Ultra 4D Advanced collection, created in part using recycled materials. The shoes are mostly red, white, and blue, seemingly modeled to look like they'd match perfectly with Insomniac Spidey's suit. Further in keeping with the video games, the sole is not only black, but tendrils creeping up from it all the way around the shoes represent Venom, an iconic comic book character who will play a key role in Spider-Man when it launches on October 20.

The tongue of the shoes has a red web design and the iconic white Spider-Man symbol at the top to complete the look.
