It's only fitting that Assassin's Creed Valhalla goes big with its interpretation of the story. The Dawn of Ragnarok DLC is arguably large enough to be its own game, clocking in at a 15 GB download size and featuring a brand-new expansive map.

But considering it's a month full of major releases, players might want to budget their expected game hours ahead of time. Here's how long will it take for them to complete Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok.
This is a rare case where the development team itself has given a playtime estimate. According to Ubisoft Montreal, Dawn of Ragnarok contains about 35 hours worth of content. But whether this number is accurate depends entirely on how the player approaches the game.
There is definitely enough in the expansion to reach that hour count, but only if the player is going for full 100% completion, doing every side quest, and finding every hidden corner of the map. If they're only doing the main quests and rushing to the end, players can expect to finish in a third of the time, in about 10 to 12 hours.
Thankfully, Ubisoft Montreal makes it easy to jump straight into Dawn of Ragnarok, even if the player hasn't finished Assassin's Creed Valhalla's base story, or if they haven't touched the game in a while.
