The project codenamed Assassin's Creed Infinity will not take the form of a free-to-play game, according to Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot. Ubisoft confirmed AC Infinity earlier this summer following Bloomberg reporting about an upcoming entry with a live-service model attached. The publisher wouldn't disclose much in the way of concrete details but noted that Assassin's Creed's primary studio, Ubisoft Montréal, is helming the new adventure alongside its Québec-based sister studio.
