It seems like Prince of Persia games are just like buses - you wait ages for one and then two show up at the same time. Less than three months after the release of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, it's being reported that Ubisoft plans on releasing another Prince of Persia game later this year, this time a roguelite developed by the studio behind the DLC for hit indie title Dead Cells, Evil Empire.
This is according to Insider Gaming, which claims that the title will be called 'The Rogue Prince of Persia' and will launch in Steam Early Access at some point later this year. With this news, it looks like Prince of Persia fans will be eating well over the next couple of years. Not only do we have this new roguelite to potentially look forward to, but it was also recently announced that Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is getting some new free game modes over the course of 2024, with a paid story expansion set to drop at the end of the year.
We also have the Sand of Time remake to look forward to, though when that will actually release is anyone's
