The first Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 gameplay footage has seemingly leaked ahead of the title’s upcoming reveal.
The footage below is brief, low-quality and may have been taken from an old build of the game.
Seemingly referencing the video, recognised insider Tom Henderson said the footage dated from around November or December 2021.
The last few frames of the video were previously illustrated by Call of Duty leaker Ralph Valve in February.

Publisher Activision revealed Modern Warfare 2’s title and logo in late April, and VGC understands the game will be officially unveiled early next month.
Ralph Valve claimed this week that a level from the game’s singe-player campaign will be showcased at Summer Games Fest on June 9.
Following that, a public alpha focused on Gunfight mode will arrive in August, ahead of a larger beta prior to release, they said.
As first reported by VGC in September 2021, Modern Warfare 2’s campaign will be centred around the drug war against Columbian cartels.
Sources said the single-player story is “a grittier take on Modern Warfare 2019’s campaign”, with more close-quarters combat, tricky decision making, and the classic Call of Duty set-piece moments fans have come to expect.
Modern Warfare 2 is in development at Infinity Ward alongside the new Call of Duty Warzone.
Warzone 2 details allegedly leaked online this week, including plans to bring the game closer Call of Duty’s first battle royale, Black Ops 4’s Blackout.
