One of the best-selling comic companies on the globe, DC is no stranger to changing up its formula every now and again. Every eight years or so, DC likes to completely restart its mainline comic universe, whether that's the New 52 timeline, or the more recent Rebirth comic run. On top of this, DC likes to publish a series of spin-off comics, unconnected to the main continuity, in which writers and illustrators are given a little more freedom over what they do with the iconic DC characters. Jurassic League is one such comic.
Announced on February 3, Jurassic League is going to be a six-part series in which the main Justice League cast are transformed into dinosaurs. The premise is simple, but amazing, and is just absurd enough to bring in a whole new crowd of casual comic readers. In fact, this premise is so intriguing that a video game adaptation could have the potential to be a unique, incredible experience.

Co-written by Daniel Warren Johnson and Juan Gedeon, Jurassic League's six-part run begins on May 10, 2022, and will continue with a monthly release schedule. Jurassic League is set to be a limited series, so fans may have to say a quick goodbye to the prehistoric line-up at the end of the year.
Jurassic League has come from one very simple idea.
