’90s Darkstalkers’ Revenge anime headed to Blu-ray in May

destructoid.comThe ’90s were a fine heyday for fighting game-based anime — We got tubular movies and OVAs in the form of Street Fighter II, Street Fighter Alpha, Fatal Fury, The King of Fighters, and even Capcom’s monsteriffic mashup, Darkstalkers, in the form of 1997′ release Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge.
And you spring chickens for whom 1997 seems like the “black-and-white” years, you’re in luck, as distributor Discotek Media has announced that it will be releasing all four chapters of the classic anime on Blu-ray this coming May, fully remastered and shining in the light of the full moon like never before.
