Despite being blasted by fans for being boring, 90 Day Fiancé season 9 saw all seven of the featured couples tying the knot by the season finale. While viewers witnessed the marriages of the featured international duos, fans have noticed many red flags throughout the season. Overall, a lot of 90 Day Fiancé season 9 viewers are skeptical, believing that several of the featured marriages will eventually fail.
Currently, 90 Day Fiancé has a better long-term marriage success rate than its spin-off show, 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. However, there have been many franchise divorces and separations in the past eight years of content. Currently, around half of the 90 Day Fiancé couples are still together. While all four couples who appeared in 90 Day Fiancé season 1 are still married, many of the later seasons have seen marriages dissolving. One of the reasons why is the fact that fans think couples started appearing on the show for clout, rather than to air genuine international romances.

It has been rumored that all seven of the featured 90 Day Fiancé season 9 couples were still together when the reunion was filmed several weeks back. However, many viewers already believe that there might be trouble in paradise for some couples. On the other hand, only six of the seven couples who will appear on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 7 have been announced. Therefore, many franchise fans think that one of the more successful (or dramatic) season 9 couples will next appear on the spin-off show.
