There are many fans who feel the 90 Day Fiancé franchise has become bloated with spin-offs, and in 2022, it’s time for TLC to trim the fat. Several franchise shows simply aren’t resonating with viewers, and the network would be wise to cancel the series that aren’t working and devote those resources towards more popular spin-offs.
90 Day Fiancé is a tremendously popular franchise, so it’s no surprise that the core series has spawned over a dozen spin-offs. But fans have been getting more and more critical, and there have been a lot of complaints about the recent series that have been added to the franchise. It’s high time that TLC reassess its programming priorities and give some spin-offs the axe.

This once highly-anticipated spin-off has become highly controversial, and its popularity is steadily declining. The casting for seasons 1 and, especially, 2 have been universally panned, and many viewers complain that The Single Life seems to be particularly contrived. A lot of fans are already reportedly fast-forwarding through multiple stars’ segments, and it could be time for TLC to call The Single Life a failure.
Foody Call has proven to be a major miss with fans, and TLC should consider scrapping the entire spin-off. The combination of explicit sex talk and cooking demonstrations was nauseating to viewers, and the brief season 1 was not well received. Though there are signs that production on Foody Call season 2 is already underway, TLC shouldn’t waste any more time or money on this spin-off.
