For Switch users looking to get one of 8BitDo's excellent controllers at a budget-friendly price, preorders are now live for the 8BitDo Ultimate C ahead of its imminent November 15 release. This is a more affordable wireless version of the 8BitDo Ultimate and is priced at just $30, making it arguably the best bang for your buck when it comes to wireless Switch controllers. Considering most (good) wireless Switch controllers cost $50 or more, 8BitDo's Ultimate C is definitely worth a look.
This model packs in non-linear triggers, a satisfying grip texture, and double-shot buttons. It's available in a trio of pastel colors: pink, orange, and blue. Additionally, it has rumble vibration support, six-axis motion control, and wake-to-shake activation. You can expect up to 16 hours of battery life from a two-hour charge, and like other 8BitDo controllers, it has USB-C support for when you want to tether it to your Switch dock.
For something a little bit more feature-packed, you can get the regular 8BitDo Ultimate controller. The big differences here is that this model comes with a stylish charging dock, has rumble vibration, a pair of back triggers, Hall Effect joysticks that are more durable, and up to three custom profiles that you can set up and switch between. With 8BitDo's Ultimate software, you can remap all of the buttons, adjust stick sensitivity, rumble intensity, and more. The standard Ultimate also comes with 2.4GHz wireless as well as Bluetooth and is compatible with a wide range of platforms.
One of the best wireless controllers that you can pick up for the Nintendo Switch and PC, the 8BitDo Ultimate is currently on sale at
