Slasher movies tend to follow the same formula, but they're still always exciting. Audiences get to know a main character (often a «final girl») and their friends, family, and/or love interest. The setting is usually a small town that now seems creepy given what's going on. And once some murders begin happening, the main character investigates. There's also the thrilling moment when the killer/villain is revealed, and then audiences can put the pieces together of why this terror has been happening.
But in some slasher films, there are actually two killers, and that's definitely a lot more interesting. There are several movies that fit into this category, but there are some especially great ones that stand out.
