Today, Riot Games has finally revealed the name of its long-awaited Project L fighting game: it will be called 2XKO.
We first heard that the former developers of Rising Thunder were making a fighting game at Riot back in August 2019. Development was a slow burn afterward, with developers only making occasional announcements, such as when they confirmed it would be free to play.

competition while offering streamlined controls and gameplay mechanics that enable "faster fun. Key features include:
Duo-Play - In addition to the classic one-on-one competition, Duo Play allows players to
play with each other on the same team
● 2v2 co-op tag team play allows players to pair up with a friend, offering new ways
to play outside of pure 1v1 competition
League’s Runeterra - 2XKO is a stylish fighter set in a uniquely modern expression of
League of Legends’ Runeterra
● Iconic LoL champions are reflected in new and exciting ways yet always remain
true to their core.

through play itself
● Streamlined controls enable faster fun while preserving the game’s high level of
depth and mastery
FGC Focus- 2XKO embraces the values and ethos of the FGC with a grassroots
approach to building and connecting players to the broader fighting game community
● 2XKO will bring the rivalry and camaraderie of an IRL arcade to a live service,
online game
