Marvel has confirmed that no AI was used in the creation of a new poster. The Fantastic Four: First Steps will be released in United States theaters in July 2025.
The ensemble MCU film stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/Thing.
Along with the first trailer for the Fantastic Four: First Steps, Marvel has also released a new batch of posters for the movie, which can be viewed below: Social media members were quick to question whether or not AI was used to create these posters; more specifically, the poster that features a swarm of Fantastic Four fans holding signs and flags was suspected of utilizing AI.
Speaking with TheWrap, a spokesperson for Marvel set the record straight and confirmed that “AI was not used in the creation of these posters.” The synopsis for The Fantastic Four: First Steps reads, “Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces Marvel’s First Family — Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Quinn), and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Moss-Bachrach) — as they face their most daunting challenge yet.
Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner).
