Lilo & Stitch Teaser Trailer Previews Disney’s Live-Action Remake

Disney has released the teaser trailer for, an upcoming live-action remake of the beloved 2002 animated classic of the same name.

It is set to hit theaters on May 23, 2025. Per the official logline, Lilo & Stitch is a “wildly funny and touching story of a lonely Hawaiian girl and the fugitive alien who helps to mend her broken family.” It is directed by Marcel the Shell with Shoes On filmmaker Dean Fleischer Camp.

The teaser trailer opens with a shot of a sand castle akin to the iconic Disney castle. It then jumps to Stitch, arriving to destroy the castle.

It also reveals the film will be arriving on Memorial Day in 2025. The recent teaser trailer drop comes on the heels of the recently released poster, introducing the live-action iteration of the beloved blue-colored alien.
