Would you fancy a movie or TV series based on FromSoftware's latest masterpiece, Elden Ring? Because that seems exactly what George R.R.
Martin is teasing in his latest blog update posted on Saturday. The author of A Song of Ice and Fire famously collaborated with the Japanese studio on the new fantasy franchise, laying down the mythology, worldbuilding, and characters that the game's plot is based upon.

The prize, which cited both George R.R. Martin and Elden Ring game director Hidetaka Miyazaki, was shipped to Japan only recently.
The author said that's where it belongs since FromSoftware did the heavy lifting on the story after he had prepared the groundwork.
