Activision Has Finally Responded To BO6 Cheating Complaints, Console Players Now Have A New Feature To Help Keep Cheaters At Bay

Activision has issued a sweeping response to the ongoing complaints of widespread cheating in . More so than in previous games, cheating has run rampant in.

Almost every player claims to encounter cheating constantly, which is frustrating at best and downright unethical at worst. After months of calling for a fix, Activision has finally responded to players who express concerns over cheating, offering a suite of new options and future updates to improve the cheating epidemic.

In the most recent community update, Activision outlined a multipoint plan for the prevention of cheating in. On the player's side, there's a new, easy way to avoid encountering cheaters in online modes: players on PlayStation and Xbox consoles can now turn off crossplay with PC.

Since cheating is more common among PC players, due to the relative ease of deploying cheats on the platform, this should prevent console players from encountering most cheaters.

PC players, however, will have to come up with an alternate solution. So that's one potential solution, if not a one-size-fits all.
