The first trailer for Blumhouse’s has been released. Drop is a new thriller movie produced by Blumhouse and Platinum Dunes that is releasing in United States theaters this April.
Starring The White Lotus’ Meghann Fahy, the film is directed by Christopher Landon, who previously made the Happy Death Day movies and 2020’s Freaky.
Check out the Drop trailer below (watch more trailers and clips): The Drop trailer sees Fahy’s character, Violet, head to a fancy restaurant for a first date with a man named Henry, played by Brandon Sklenar.
While Henry sees charming enough, things take a turn when Violet begins receiving messages on her phone from an anonymous source threatening her, her family, and others.
The synopsis for the movie reads, “Emmy nominee Meghann Fahy, breakout star of White Lotus and The Perfect Couple, plays Violet, a widowed mother on her first date in years, who arrives at an upscale restaurant where she is relieved that her date, Henry (It Ends with Us’ Brandon Sklenar) is more charming and handsome than she expected.
