The Zach Braff-led sitcom began back in 2001, and was decently popular when it first released. Following a decrease in ratings, however, Scrubs was cancelled after season 9, wrapping up in 2010.
Scrubs' central cast includes Zach Braff, who plays protagonist J.D., Donald Faison, Sarah Chalke, Neil Flynn, Ken Jenkins, Judy Reyes and John C. McGinley. These seven main players, who play the nurses, doctors, and in Neil Flynn’s case, the janitor, appear in almost every episode. Once the Scrubs actors parted ways, many have had smaller TV careers, but others have made notable appearances including Flynn in ABC’s The Middleand Chalke as a key voice actress in Rick and Morty. Scrubs showrunner Bill Lawrence has gone on to produce the critically acclaimed Apple TV series Ted Lasso.

Now, the Scrubs cast finally reunites in a picture posted on Lawrence’s Instagram. The picture shows Lawrence with six of the main Scrubs members, including Braff, Faison, and Chalke, smiling or making funny faces at the camera as they share drinks in a restaurant. Lawrence expresses fond admiration to his former Scrubs actors in the post stating “Great night. Grateful for these folks. Grateful to the people who still watch.”
