Along side the Xiaomi 12 Pro and the Xiaomi Pad 5, Xiaomi also announced a couple of smart TVs at the event. While the company had already teased the Mi TV 5A series TVs across various sizes, the company had announced the Xiaomi OLED Vision TVs as a surprise launch. The OLED Vision TVs are Xiaomi's foray into the premium OLED TV segment, and Xiaomi is competing with LG with a sub-Rs. 1 lakh price tag.
The Xiaomi OLED Vision TV will be available in a 55-inch variant starting May 19 2022 at a starting price of Rs. 89,999. As part of the launch offers, HDFC credit card holders can avail additional discount of Rs. 6000 on the product. On the other side of the spectrum, the Xiaomi Smart TV 5A will come with lowly prices. It will be available in three sizes, starting with the 32-inch model that costs Rs. 13,499. The 40-inch model will set you back by Rs. 20,999, whereas the 43-inch model will cost ₹23,999. The TVs will go on sale starting April 30, 2022.
The OLED Vision TV is all about the OLED display, and comes in only a single 55-inch size model. Xiaomi claims a 97 percent screen-to-body ratio with its bezel-less design. The 4K OLED panel can go down to nearly zero nits of brightness, supports 10-bit colour along with MEMC and TUV certification. For performance, the OLED Vision TV relies on a quad-core Cortex-A73 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage. There is support for Dolby Vision IQ and 98.5 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut.
When it comes to the audio, the OLED Vision TV gets an 8-speaker setup, all of them rated with an output of 30W. There is support for Dolby Atmos as well. In terms of connectivity, this TV gets three HDMI 2.1 ports, two USB ports, an Ethernet port, AV input, 3.5mm headphone jack, and an optical port.
