Xenoblade Chronicles 3: How To Unlock Weapon Upgrades
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is a rich game with tons of locations for you to explore and characters for you to meet, but one of its greatest strengths is the amount of customization it offers you when it comes to your party members and their classes.

After completing various Hero Quests, you can swap your party members’ classes, altering their stats, abilities and their outfits. You’re encouraged to experiment with this throughout the game, but there’s something you might not have realized you can do. Once you complete a certain side quest, you can upgrade each party member’s weapon, increasing their strength even further.
Unlocking weapon upgrades may not be something you come across organically when playing through the game.
You’ll need to seek out the Uniting the Seven Nopon side quest, which you can begin by talking to a Nopon called Samon. He can be found in the Sentridge Harbor in the Cadensia region.
You’ll need to have completed The Ultimate Vessel main story quest first to unlock this side quest.
When you speak to Samon, he will tell you about seven special Nopon across Aionios who wield Ultimate Hammers. He wants you to speak to them and bring them to the City.
There are five Nopon that you need to find, with Samon being the sixth, and the seventh Nopon revealed near the end of the quest.
Bringing these Nopon together will allow you to unlock weapon upgrades.
Below are the locations and requirements for the five Nopon.
Once you have found all the Nopon, ‘Seven Nopon’ will become available as a Discussion Topic. Find a rest spot and discuss it.
