Xbox Game Pass has had a really special month, with March 2022 absolutely packed with upcoming Game Pass games and new game releases. Big releases like Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13, indie releases like Kentucky Route Zero and Zero Escape: The Nonary Games, and Day One releases like Tunic and FAR: Changing Tides have made March special. The month isn't over yet, though. Xbox Game Pass has one more Day One release to close out March 2022 strong.
The final game for March 2022 isn't a surprise announcement. Xbox Game Pass subscribers have known it's coming for some time. The game is Weird West, the first game from ex-Arkane leaders Julien Roby and Raphael Colantonio's exciting young studio WolfEye. It's an isometric RPG set in a fantastical American frontier. It's thick with gritty western genre themes, so expect to see plenty of lawmen, gunslingers, outlaws, and more, all of dubious moral standing.
Xbox Game Pass Adds New Day One Game With Rave Reviews
As noted, Weird West is a Day One release on Xbox Game Pass. It officially launches today, March 31, on PC, PS4, and Xbox One and will be supported through Game Pass on both PC and console. While Weird West is technically officially launched and available through certain storefronts now, it may take some time before it's unlocked for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. It's just a matter of time, though.
